ISSUE #13: November 2016
FHCSD Clinics Are Closed for Thanksgiving Holiday
Family Health Centers of San Diego (FHCSD) clinics will be closed Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25 for the Thanksgiving holiday. We will reopen on Saturday, November 26 at our Logan Heights and El Cajon locations. We encourage you to use this time to share a meal and give thanks with family and friends. All of our staff at FHCSD wishes you and your family a safe, healthy and happy Thanksgiving!
Take The Pledge And Share
#GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable holiday season by encouraging community members to make their end-of-the-year donations on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. FHCSD asks you to make a donation and encourage others to give in support of our programs and services for those in need.
For more information on how to give on Tuesday, November 29, check out the #GivingTuesday page on our website.
Pay It Forward For Game Day
The San Diego Bowl Games Association has made a generous decision to support the mission, programs and services of Family Health Centers of San Diego by donating a portion of ticket sales from their Holiday Bowl and Poinsettia Bowl Games.
To participate, buy tickets to either game by calling (619) 283-5808 and mention Family Health Centers of San Diego. You must mention FHCSD to activate the donation. This offer is valid through December 2, 2016. Get your tickets today!
Commit To Quit
This past week we celebrated the Great American Smokeout, which aims to encourage individuals to quit cigarettes. For information on the benefits of quitting and how to get support, read our latest blog post.
