Our Greatest Need

Our City Heights Family Health Center is literally bursting at the seams! Since the clinic first opened in 2004, it has experienced growth of over 465% in patient visits. In 2004, we served 1,900 patients and that number grew to well over 6,300 by 2008. Total patient visits also grew from just under 4,000 to over 18,600 in the same period.

To ensure continued care for the families in need of healthcare in this community, we have secured a larger building just one block from the current location, however now the expensive task of renovating the space for patient care must commence. Please join us by making a contribution today.

The majority of the 132,218 persons residing in the City Heights Family Health Center’s service area suffer from substantial barriers to care like poverty, lack of formal education, cultural and linguistic isolation, social alienation and distrust of institutions.
