Say Lula Hosts One-Year Anniversary Party to Benefit Logan Heights Family Health Center
San Diego (June 8, 2007) – Say Lula Salon in San Diego’s East Village is celebrating its one-year anniversary with a reception to benefit Logan Heights Family Health Center.
The reception will be hosted on Saturday, July 14 and will feature a cash bar, live music, a silent auction, a raffle and a fashion show featuring local East Village boutiques i.am and steady/unsteady. The event is open to the public, and the cost is $10. Proceeds will benefit the Logan Heights Family Health Center.
“I’m thrilled to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the salon, and am so excited to throw a party to benefit a great organization like the Logan Heights Family Health Center,” said Telepman.
Located just a few blocks from Say Lula, Logan Heights Family Health Center is a community clinic that has provided medical and dental care to local uninsured and medically underserved families for over 37 years.
“We’re delighted to be working with Say Lula Salon to support healthcare for vulnerable families in the area,” said Director of Government & Community Relations Jennette Lawrence. “We’re looking forward to a great party!”
Hair salon owner Lisa Telepman has converged retro chic and industrial contemporary styles to distinguish Say Lula Salon. The venue has become a downtown “hot spot” – a destination for not only a color and trim, but also for entertainment and parties.

Telepman has more than 10 years experience in the hair care industry as a haircut, color specialist and extensions specialist and make-up artist.
