Our program offers complete care and support:

  • Prenatal Care:
Our team of board certified OB/GYNs and support staff provide medical care and case management to coordinate a patient’s entire pregnancy and after her delivery. This includes: pregnancy testing and counseling, medical care, ultrasounds, lab tests, referrals, post-partum visits and pediatric transition.  We deliver babies at either the award-winning Scripps Mercy Hospital or Sharp Grossmont Hospital.
  • Health Education:
Patients receive individual counseling to review physical changes during pregnancy and post-partum, common discomforts, fetal development, signs of labor, hospital registration process, family planning options and more.
  • Nutrition Counseling:
Our staff teaches patients how to make healthy food choices and understand how these choices affect their developing baby. Patients also meet with a Nutritionist or Registered Dietitian to discuss appropriate weight gain during pregnancy and ways to lose weight after the baby is born.
  • Social Work:
Our team of Social Workers provide individualized assessment, support and connect patients with community resources.
  • Breastfeeding Education and Support:
We provide information about the risks of not breastfeeding, what to expect the first few weeks after delivery, how to produce enough milk, how use and apply for a free breast pump and more. Our team of Certified Lactation Educators and Consultants are also available to provide support after the baby is born.
  • Hospital Tours:
Our staff guides patients and their partners through a free one-hour tour of Scripps Mercy Hospital or Sharp Grossmont Hospital so they feel comfortable about their upcoming labor, delivery, and recovery process.
    Dental Care:
Our staff can provide patients a referral for a free dental cleaning
