Homeless Services

Family Health Centers of San Diego is dedicated to providing healthcare services to medically underserved persons. Homeless children and adults are among the most underserved by San Diego's healthcare community. Family Health Centers of San Diego utilizes the resources of its Health Care for the Homeless Project to provide respectful, culturally competent, and high quality services to homeless persons. The San Diego Health Care for the Homeless Project offers the following free services and resources for homeless patients:

• Acute Care (sick visits, physicals, medication)
• Vision Care (exam & glasses)
• Dental Care (cleanings, fillings, extractions, minor repairs); limited restorative services
• Counseling/Mental Health (individual and group therapy; psychiatric assessment and medication management)
• Case Management
• Referral Assistance
• Resource Information
• Transportation
