COVID-19 Booster Shots

Información en español

We know you may have questions about COVID-19 booster shots.

Based on guidance from the FDA and CDC, FHCSD offers booster doses for all patients who previously received the COVID-19 vaccine. Anyone over the age of five who received their last COVID-19 vaccine more than two months ago is now eligible for the updated bivalent booster. For more information about the pediatric vaccine, click here.

According to the CDC, any of the COVID-19 vaccines can be used for the booster vaccination, regardless of the vaccine used for primary vaccination. Although FHCSD will generally provide you with the same vaccine you were originally vaccinated with, supply may sometimes be low. In those cases, we will mix vaccines, which is still safe and effective.
