The Prodigy Project offered by Family Health Centers of San Diego (FHCSD) is designed to connect young gay and queer men of color with high-quality health care and education services.

As one of the largest providers of comprehensive HIV prevention, outreach, testing and support services in San Diego County, FHCSD offers program participants access to comprehensive medical care, as well as PrEP navigation, low or no-cost STI testing and other services in a supportive LGBTQ and transgender-informed environment. Participants in Project Prodigy can receive up to $150 in gift cards when they complete four free sessions.

Prodigy Project services include:

  • STI and hepatitis testing
  • Free HIV testing
  • PrEP navigation
  • Mental health and substance use disorder services and counseling

To enroll, you must be:

  • Black or Latinx
  • Between 13 and 29 years old
  • Assigned male at birth
  • Have sex with men
