Flu Vaccine

A flu vaccine protects against the most common strains of the virus.

The flu is a respiratory illness that infects your nose, throat, and sometimes lungs. Illness comes on suddenly with things like fever, cough, body aches, and feeling tired. Cough and fatigue may last for weeks.

Everyone 6 months and older should get the flu vaccine.

Call (619) 515-2300 to schedule an appointment.

Shingles Vaccine

Shingles is a painful, blister-like skin rash that can show up anywhere on your body. You may feel tingling, itching, burning, or a stabbing pain under the skin. Complications from shingles can last months or even years.

Adults 50 years and older and those who are immunocompromised should get the shingles vaccine. Even if you’ve had shingles before, the vaccine can keep you from getting it again.

Call (619) 515-2300 to schedule an appointment.

Pneumococcal Vaccine

You can be sick with pneumonia, meningitis, or sepsis for many weeks.

Pneumococcal infections (pneumonia, sepsis, and meningitis) can impact many parts of your body: ears or sinuses, lungs, brain, spinal cord, or bloodstream. They can cause serious illness. These infections invade parts of the body that are normally free from germs. They can be very severe and can require hospitalization or even cause death.

Adults 65 years and older should get the pneumococcal vaccine.

Call (619) 515-2300 to schedule an appointment.
