Dilated Eye Exams

If you’re living with diabetes, it’s important for you to see an ophthalmologist or optometrist for a yearly dilated eye exam. A dilated eye exam can help your doctor find and treat serious eye diseases that are common among people with diabetes. Some of these diseases can cause loss of vision or blindness, including retinopathy, cataracts and glaucoma.

Let's Prevent Diabetes Program

Through this CDC-recognized lifestyle change program, participants will learn, laugh, share stories, try new things and build new habits – all while lowering the risk to develop Type 2 diabetes and improving overall health. A specialized Lifestyle Coach will facilitate discussions and help make the program fun and engaging. During these group classes, participants will learn to eat healthy without giving up the food they love, ways to increase physical activity, deal with stress and cope with challenges that can derail your hard work.
