Application information
We welcome you and thank you for your interest in our program! Family Health Centers of San Diego’s Psychiatry Residency Program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). We offer six categorical positions. Applicants will apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Applicants are only selected through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).
Interview process
Each year, we invite 75 applicants to interview for six intern positions. Candidates meet with three faculty members, the program director and several of our current residents. The interviews allow both the program and applicants to learn more about each other.
The deadline for applications is December 1.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Interviews are conducted from October to February.
Applicants must be either U.S. citizens or permanent residents. We currently do not sponsor any visas.
