SAN DIEGO, CA – (January 22, 2018) Family Health Centers of San Diego (FHCSD) was recently granted $6,000 by the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation (ETAF) in partnership with Macy’s to further our work in HIV/AIDS prevention. The grant will be used by FHCSD’s Syringe Services Program (SSP), which focuses on harm reduction and safety education among people who inject drugs.
FHCSD is honored to be recognized for the work we do in HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment in San Diego County. “The work that FHCSD does to help people affected by HIV/AIDS is impressive and very much in aligned with Elizabeth Taylor’s passionate commitment to the cause,” said Joel Goldman, Managing Director of The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation. “ETAF and our partners at Macy’s are thrilled to present FHCSD with these funds to help further our shared mission.”
