Family Health Centers of San Diego (FHCSD) offers high-quality and affordable LGBTQ Services to the community in a welcoming and open health care environment. We are committed to providing comprehensive health care services, including the full range of primary care and reproductive health services, as well as connecting individuals with HIV or hepatitis to screenings and treatment, Gay Men’s Health Services including PrEP and PEP, Transgender Health Services, prenatal services and pediatric care and more.

Family Planning Services
+We offer free and low-cost annual OB/GYN exams, pap/cancer screenings, breast exams and mammograms, pregnancy tests and counseling, STD testing and treatment and several birth control options.

+As the largest provider of HIV and hepatitis treatment and prevention services in the region, we believe in a client-centered approach that takes the whole individual into consideration when discussing prevention or treatment. San Diego Benefits Enrollment Center
+San Diego Benefits Enrollment Center (SDBEC) assists low-income Medicare beneficiaries with enrollment in MSP, LIS, LIHEAP, Medi-Cal and SNAP.
A benefits screening can determine what entitlement benefits you may be eligible for. It takes less ten minutes to complete and is unique to you. It is completely free of charge and there are no obligations. Additionally, you do not need to be a patient of Family Health Centers of San Diego and you do not need to switch your health care provider.

STD Prevention, Screening & Treatment
+We offer STD screening and treatment services at all of our primary health clinics. If you are sexually active, regular screenings for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), such as gonorrhea, herpes, syphilis and HIV, can lower your risk of infection and provide you with peace of mind.

Substance Use Disorder Services
+Our substance use disorder services staff and counselors work closely with the medical providers in our clinics to support patients in developing and completing personalized plans to reduce the negative physical and psychological impacts of drugs and alcohol.
