FHCSD thanks the generosity of the County Employees Charitable Organization for funding the purchase of a hyfrecator machine. This essential piece of equipment in our dermatology practice will allow providers to perform biopsies and other procedures in an office setting instead of referring patients out to other specialists. The ability to perform biopsies in-house allows us to provide better care for our low-income patients, including people living with HIV/AIDS who experience skin disorders, leading to better treatment options and better health outcomes for our patients.
