To our valued patients:
Family Health Centers of San Diego (FHCSD) is dedicated to ensuring you have the most up-to-date information on the COVID-19 vaccine.
In San Diego County, the vaccine is currently available to health care workers, as well as employees and residents of long-term care facilities, since they have a higher-than-average risk of contracting COVID-19. Soon, there may be doses for additional priority groups, such as individuals over the age of 65.
Official guidance from the state and county has been updated frequently since the vaccine was approved, and as more doses become available, the vaccine will be offered to more individuals outside the priority groups. Although the vaccine is not yet available for everyone, FHCSD is hard at work to ensure you and your family are able to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
Once the vaccine is available, we will reach out to you about scheduling an appointment. In the meantime, please check here for updates and reserve our phone lines for current medical needs.
Thank you for your patience. We are almost there.
