Since 1998, our Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) have provided health care to uninsured and medically underserved children, teens and adults in collaboration with elementary schools, community centers, social service agencies, rehabilitation facilities, battered women’s shelters, public housing complexes and homeless shelters.
By breaking down transportation barriers for individuals and families in need of health care, your MMU donations and our three units serve 3,443 children, women and men through 4,628 individual health care encounters annually. MMU donations help us keep these units on the road and providing care for San Diego’s underserved communities.
Now, there are two ways to contribute to this program!
Individual Naming Program
Add your name, or family name, to the back exterior of one of the units. And now, for a limited time, your donation will be matched dollar for dollar, thanks to the generosity of long-time donor Thomas A. Page, former Chairman and CEO of San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E). Donation amounts vary. Please download our MMU Individual Naming Program Packet for pricing and spot locations. This packet also includes a reservation form that you can complete and mail to:

Corporate Sponsorship
An organization makes a one-time investment and in turn has its logo/branding message placed prominently on the driver side’s exterior of a vehicle, remaining in place for three years. This is an exclusive offer and limited to only nine participants! 100% of the funds from this program will go to support ongoing maintenance, operation and medical equipment for each vehicle. Donation amounts vary. Please download our MMU – Corporate Sponsorship Packet for pricing and spot locations. This packet also includes a reservation form that you can complete and mail to:
